Ghusl Hall Groundbreaking
Assalam aleikum everyone,
In the name of Allah, the beneficent and the most merciful. All praise is due to Allah SWT and we send peace and blessings upon his messenger SAW.
I wish to thank you all for taking the time to come and share in today’s ground breaking ceremony for the KMA Ghusl Hall.
Alhamdulillah for how far we have come as a community. Alhamdulillah for the strength, resilience and unity we have shown to achieve all that we have. Alhamdulillah for being here today; and for all the blessings Allah SWT has bestowed upon us.
As you all may be aware, this Ghusl Hall project has been pending for a long while now. With all your support, support from local donors and well wishers and the support from our diaspora in Australia, USA and the UK, we have been able to raise sufficient funds to start this project and in shaa Allah, see it through to its completion.
To the many people who helped bring this project to its start, I wish to thank you and appreciate every effort you made to make this possible. To name a few, I wish to thank the entire Managing Committee, the Trustees, the Architect and his team, the contractor and his team, the entire Masjid and Religion sub-Committee and the entire Building and Projects sub committee for their tireless endeavors to meet every requirement, every suggestion, every request and every prerequisite however arduous, for their input in ensuring shariah is observed, for their time and for their expertise.
I also take this opportunity to make a special mention for Ayaz Bhigba for his unwavering commitment in coordinating the commencement and ultimate completion of the Ghusl Hall and our ongoing Masjid renovations. Sheikh Salman Aslam-for his wisdom and guidance throughout the process and for his commendable support in our fundraising efforts.
May Allah reward each and every one of you, and each and every one of us, Ameen.
